I absolutely adored the charming decoration of this hotel! The attention to detail in the traditional Maniate towerhouses was impressive. The cozy sitting areas with comfortable chairs and beautiful local artwork created a warm and inviting atmosphere. As a senior woman, I also appreciated that the hotel had an elevator, making it easily accessible for guests with mobility issues.
The only thing I would have loved to see for a better vacation experience for senior people is more assistance from the staff. Although the children working there were kind, a little extra help with carrying luggage or providing information about nearby attractions would have been greatly appreciated.

the property is stunning with lovely gardens and unique stone buildings and towers. the rooms are kept cool by the big walls, so there was no need for air conditioning, although it was available. the value for money is excellent, especially compared to other options in the region. the staff and facilities were outstanding, and it truly felt like a peaceful oasis away from the chaos of the city. the breakfast was delicious, featuring local products, and the host even prepared a special local pita with cheese and honey. I highly recommend this mansion for a stay in the majestic Mani area. Cons: Nothing, it is perfect! 😊.

Spending Christmas at this traditional towerhouse complex was a unique and memorable experience. The rustic rooms had a cozy and warm atmosphere, with stone walls and wooden shutters on the windows. We really enjoyed the Greek breakfast served in the lovely gardens, which included fresh fruits and traditional delicacies. The big garden with a playground was a great place for our children to have fun, while we relaxed and enjoyed the beautiful flowers around us.
The labyrinthine and narrow roads leading to the towerhouse complex can be difficult to navigate without a GPS, which caused us some trouble during our arrival. However, once we reached the location, we were pleasantly surprised by the key location, surrounded by the stunning countryside.

The location can be a bit remote, requiring a GPS or map to find.

We got great value for our money with a lovely room that had castle-like features, keeping us cool with stone walls and wooden shutters. The location in a remote village made it a perfect spot for relaxation and exploring, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay at Pirgoi Edem.
The morning meal could have been improved with more variety or options to choose from.

During my recent business trip, I had the opportunity to stay at Pirgoi Edem in Charouda. This hotel was chosen by our director and I must say, it had some fantastic conveniences. The complimentary bottled water provided in the room was a thoughtful touch, especially after a long day of meetings and travel. It was refreshing to have such a small but important detail taken care of.
That being said, there was one minor issue that stood out during my stay at Pirgoi Edem.
